As part of updates to public parks by Harris County, we fabricated and installed this newly designed gateway feature.
Extending over the roadway leading into the park is a 56-foot-long wide flange beam, weighing nearly 3 and half thousand pounds, with paneling on both sides with a custom wood grain texture and engraved, white infilled, letters. Mounted to the top of the beam is a smaller cabinet with a similar wood pattern and graphics.
Projecting from both support columns is an internally illuminated cabinet with the park name reverse cut in both faces. The cabinet has painted wood grain pattern to match the large beam.
This location also required custom clearance signage.
